HT Icom IC-M25 VHF Marine mengapung saat jatuh ke air, bahkan dengan mikrofon opsional, HM213, terpasang. Fitur lampu berkedip aktif saat radio menyentuh air, meskipun daya dimatikan. Lampu latar LCD dan tombol di panel depan tidak hanya berkedip, tetapi juga lampu LED merah berkedip melalui panel belakang yang menunjukkan tempat radio untuk diambil dengan mudah.
